Most Disliked
While the majority of experiences are positive, some visitors mention the generic white gravy, which they feel lacks distinction compared to other diner options. A few diners expressed that after multiple visits, some desserts did not meet expectations, especially if you prefer hearty pies over the brownie ball on the menu.
Additionally, lunch hours can get quite busy, occasionally leading to longer wait times for food. Visitors seeking a quieter dining experience often recommend planning their visits outside peak hours, especially on weekends, to fully enjoy the homely atmosphere without the crowd.

Really great place for home cooked flavors! I had the spanish omelet and german potatoes! Yum right. White gravy was a bit generic, similar to most restaurants these days. My mom had the catfish special (friday) and was just right for her. I took pics of the desserts which looked homemade. We tried a brownie ball. It was ok. We are more of pie people. We keep coming back for atmosphere and great service. Also cant wait to try the pizz aria next door.

My husband and I are traveling through and saw this place and thought why not. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a pleasant hello. The atmosphere was cozy, the waitresses were friendly and the food was perfect. My hubby and I both ordered the catch fish and it has been our experience that fish is normally overly battered. Not this! It was by far the best fish we've had. I loved how the waitresses interacted with the regular customers. If you get a chance you must stop!

Although the building inside is a bit old and needs a renovation, the food was good and the service was friendly and attentive

Had Sunday breakfast with my sisters and niece. Veggie omelettes were DELICIOUS! French toast plates were a WINNER! Hannah provided thoughtful and attentive service, and the coffee was smooth. My sister enjoyed the coffee so much that she asked for a "to go" cup. Prices were good. I recommend this place! ENJOY!
